Contemporary Art Exhibition - Prague 5 - 2018
The exhibition took place in the former bottling plant in Prague 5.
Tommy and David, postgraduate students of fine arts, strive to capture the world around them. They observe the world through two pairs of eyes, each with their own unique perspective. Tommy expresses his anxiety and inner struggle through the use of materials inspired by the urban jungle. His thoughts are presented through geometric shapes - rectangles, cylinders, and several cubes. David focuses on perceiving nature while minimizing interference with its untouched state, almost in an otherworldly manner. However, their work and thoughts are not constrained by any limitations.
Observing nature takes on various forms, methods, and possibilities. People can approach observation actively or passively, and I strive to convey my personal perspective by exposing viewers to unique and sometimes unsettling situations. The exhibition has three main pillars: a) Installations and video projections inside objects, b) Live image, and c) "Workshop of the mad scientist" located in a caravan in front of the gallery.
